Dr. Tom Cafarella

Dr. Cafarella began working at Apollo Dental in 2003. Dr. Cafarella graduated from the University of Minnesota in 1989 where he majored in Biology, and completed his D.D.S. at the University of Maryland, Baltimore in 2001.
 

 

 

Dr. Jessica (Flanigan) Voth

Dr. Voth began working at Apollo Dental in 2011. Dr. Voth graduated from the University of South Dakota in 2007 where she majored in Biology and completed her D.D.S. degree at the University Of Iowa College Of Dentistry where she graduated in 2011.

 

 

 

Dr. Sonya Josephs

Dr. Josephs began working at Apollo Dental in 2001. Dr. Josephs graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 1994 and completed her pediatric specialty at the University of Minnesota in 2001. Dr. Josephs is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Minnesota Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Dental Association.

 

 

 

Molly Matusiewicz, A.D.T., M.S., R.D.H

Molly began working at Apollo Dental in 2005 as a Licensed Dental Assistant. In 2008 she continued her education to become a Dental Hygienist, graduating in 2010. In 2017, she completed her Master of Science in Advanced Dental Therapy degree from Metropolitan State University. Molly is a member of the Minnesota Dental Therapy Association.

What is the role of an Advanced Dental Therapist?
An Advanced Dental Therapist is a Dental Therapist who obtains advanced practice certification by obtaining additional education, completing 2000 hours of supervised clinical practice and passing a MN Board of Dentistry certification examination. A certified Advanced Dental Therapist is authorized to perform additional services and is also able to provide all services in clinical or community settings where there is no dentist on site. All Advanced Dental Therapists must be supervised by a Minnesota-licensed dentist.
