Dr. Voth graduated from the University of South Dakota in 2007 where she majored in Biology and completed her D.D.S. degree at the University Of Iowa College Of Dentistry where she graduated in 2011. Dr. Voth is a member of the American Dental Association and Minnesota Dental Association.
Dr. Joseph Beatty
Dr. Beatty began working at Apollo Dental in 2014. Dr. Beatty graduated from Luther in Decorah, IA, in 2007 where he double majored in Biology and Art. He completed his D.D.S degree at the University of Illinois, College of Dentistry where he graduated in 2014. Dr. Beatty is also bilingual, with fluency in English (native-speaker) and Spanish.
Dr. Nichole Brophy
Dr. Brophy began working at Apollo Dental in 2018. She completed her undergraduate studies at Arizona State University and earned her D.D.S. Degree from New York Univesity College of Dentistry in 2016. Though originally a native of California, Dr. Brophy has practiced in Arizona and the Twin Cities prior to calling Rochester home. Dr. Brophy is a member of the American Dental Association.
Molly began working at Apollo Dental in 2005 as a Licensed Dental Assistant. In 2008 she continued her education to become a Dental Hygienist, graduating in 2010. In 2017, she completed her Master of Science in Advanced Dental Therapy degree from Metropolitan State University. Molly is a member of the American Dental Hygienists’ Association and Minnesota Dental Therapy Association.
What is the role of Dental Therapist and Advanced Dental Therapist?
A Dental Therapist is a primary dental care provider licensed by the Minnesota Board of Dentistry who provides routine preventative care and restorative services. An Advanced Dental Therapist is a Dental Therapist who obtains advanced practice certification by obtaining additional education, completing 2000 hours of supervised clinical practice and passing a MN Board of Dentistry certification examination. A certified Advanced Dental Therapist is authorized to perform additional services and is also able to provide all services in clinical or community settings where there is no dentist on site. All Dental Therapist including Advanced Dental Therapist must be supervised by a Minnesota-licensed dentist. Many Dental Therapist and Advanced Dental Therapist are also licensed dental hygienists.
